In your own words, explain what you think the challenges of Sawubona are preparing for Martine. Be sure to describe how Martine changed during her time in Africa.

  4. Martine was prepard for her challenges and she was very nervous because she had no friends to talk to when the teacher tells them to tell their ideas.Martine changed her life by helping her grandmother and Martine helps feed the elephants.

  6. I think the challenges for Martine at Sawbona are preparing her for living with animals and taking care of the animals. While helping them survive when they are able to be released back into the wild. Other challenges are making friends when you move from the top of the world to the bottom of the world.

  7. The challenges at sawubona is that Martine is not allowed in hte game reserve also Martine cannot figure out why her Mom never told her about her grandmother. I think these Challenges are preparing her to take after the game reserve when her grandmother passes away.

  8. I think one of the hardest challenges for Martine will be trying to make new friends and also trying to be strong about remembering her parents. If I were in the same situation I would feel very sad but I would try to move on in life and try my best!

  9. I think that the challenges Martine is through are preparing her for getting told about her mom ang grandmothers relationship. And just maybe about the white giraffe.

  11. I think the challenges for Martine is to care for animals. To solve her own problems and try to live in Africa in peace. Martine also needs to learn to live in Cape town the same way Martine lived where she use to be. Matine should never give up.

Martine's challenges are mostly about her and her grandmother because when Martine go's to school or any were else she haves know friend and she haves to do every thing her self,like she's a slave.And even though she want's to find the white giraffe she couldn't because her grandmother wouldn't let her go. She change because by helping her grandma feeding the elephants.

  13. I think the challenges are with Martine and her grandmother, and seeing the white giraffe. I think she will have a hard time with her grandmother because Martine isn't used to so strict rules. Also Martine is going to try so hard to find the white giraffe and she might not even find the white giraffe.

  14. I think that Martine is strugging with her gradma and living in a dffirent place. I hope Mratine finds the white giraffe and I think that she will get used to all the new things in her life.

  15. I forgot something. I think Martine has changed from being in Africa because she has to live by such strict rules. Thats how I think Martine has changed.
